About FloraWed

There is no big team behind FloraWed, just one person: I am Moritz Groht, and I build FloraWed in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

Who I am

In my circle of friends and family there have been a lot of weddings in recent years, and somehow I ended up with the seating chart every time. I moved tables around on graph paper, argued with venues about spacing and rearranged place cards the evening before because one cancellation threw everything off. Along the way I learned: a plan that looks good on paper is far from working in the hall. That is why FloraWed plans tables, spacing and walkways in real meters.

Why FloraWed?

A seating chart depends on everything else: every acceptance or decline changes the guest count, the budget and the tables. FloraWed keeps these parts together, so you do not have to maintain three lists in parallel.

How FloraWed works

  • Free and without an account. Your data stays in the browser on your device.
  • With real measurements. The planner checks spacing and walkways. It is a guide and does not replace the venue's approved seating plan.
  • Everything in one place. Guest list, seating chart, budget, checklist and place cards work together.

The magazine

I am responsible for the guides in the FloraWed Magazine myself. The images are AI-generated and labeled as such. The magazine is written for couples planning a wedding in Germany, so some details, such as the registry office (Standesamt), refer to German practice. If you spot a mistake or a number looks off, write to me. I will correct it.
